Position Title: Project Manager

Experience: 4-5 years of experience in the eLearning industry, with a minimum of 2 years experience in Project Management

Position Description: As Project Manager, you will be required to manage the design, creation and maintenance of quality courseware. Advise on resource requirements, infrastructure needs and budgetary requirements for the Curriculum Design and Development unit and for planned projects.

A key responsibility will also be to manage courseware production by third party organizations to meet specified quality, time and budget criteria. This will involve leading multiple projects simultaneously and supervising the work of individuals who are not direct reports (such as consultants from other companies and internal subject matter experts working on outsourced projects).

You will be responsible for the overall quality and fitness for purpose of the deliverables of outsourced vendors by using the expertise of colleagues to review deliverables.

You will need to continuously review vendor performance and advise on selection of alternative or additional vendors as and when required. You will be involved in developing learning content as a marketable product for third party organizations and manage both contract and budgets for any developments undertaken on behalf of external parties.

Specific responsibilities include:

• Deliver support and development projects as per the signed up SLA’s and productivity commitments.
• Understanding project requirements
• Project planning
• Deliver projects (including staffing, ramping up, resolving technical conflicts, planning, risk management, change management and expectation management) as per committed timelines and budget.
• Ensuring compliance to quality systems and processes
• Responsible for customer satisfaction and managing customer expectations
• Team management, motivation and skilling

Required Skills/Background:

• Should have eLearning industry background of minimum 3 years
• Excellent communication skills
• A very high sense of responsibility and commitment (Must have "whatever it takes" attitude)
• Ability to abstract and learn
• Good background in technology

Education/Certification Required: Any Graduate
